The exhibition honours the power and resilience of African women and was attended by distinguished members of the Otu Odu society.
Most recently, REWA was invited to design the official poster for the 2025 edition of the
Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. The carnival, considered the second-largest in the world after Rio de Janeiro's, has been declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest since 1980 and has been running since 1962. With the 2025 edition themed "Secrets of Africa," REWA will be the first African artist - and the third woman artist overall - to design the event's symbolic poster, putting her amongst the ranks of César Manrique, Mel Ramos and Jiří "Georg" Dokoupil, and marking a significant moment in both her career and the carnival's rich history of artistic collaboration.
