After completing a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, and Art Gallery Management, Sorella Acosta gained extensive experience in Brussels from 1985 to 2007. She worked both at a communication, marketing, and advertising agency and as a partner at Artexis Group, Europe's leading fair organizer, responsible for major events such as Art Brussels and Eurantica.
Since founding OOA GALLERY in 2011, where she serves as director and curator, Sorella has honed a remarkable ability to discover emerging contemporary African artists. Under her leadership, she and her team have successfully introduced these talents to prominent art collectors through solo and group exhibitions, online platforms, and participation in renowned art fairs across Europe, Africa, and the United States.
