Sorella Acosta
Following a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication and Art Gallery Management, Sorella Acosta built up her experience in Brussels from 1985 to 2007, on the one hand in a communication, marketing and advertising agency and on the other hand as partner of the Artexis group, number 1 in the organization of fairs in Europe, including Art Brussels and Eurantica.
Founder, director and curator of OOA GALLERY since 2011, Sorella Acosta has a good eye for discovering emerging African contemporary talents that she and her team present to the most important art collectors through exhibitions, online communication and participation at art fairs in Europe, Africa, the US and Asia.
Representing more than 20 contemporary African artists, she will open an artistic residency in 2023 to better support the artists in their artistic development and career.
