Michel de Jong Vázquez is a Belgian-Spanish professional with a master’s degree in computer science and a career spanning aerospace, telecommunications, and finance. After years working in high-performance technical environments, he chose to combine his expertise with his long-standing passion for contemporary art and photography.
As Digital Manager & Photography Coordinator at OOA Gallery, Michel leads the digital transformation of the gallery, integrating technological solutions that support its artistic, commercial, and organisational development. He oversees the gallery’s digital strategy and infrastructure — from online platforms and data optimisation to the creation of digital tools that enhance the visibility, management, and presentation of artworks. He also ensures the overall coherence and efficiency of the gallery’s digital ecosystem, including communication workflows and the enhancement of visual content.
Michel plays a growing role in the development of OOA Gallery’s photography programme, contributing to artist relations, the preparation of online and physical exhibitions, and the coordination of photographic projects.
