The famous quote inspired only the wise by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. used this phrase in his speech at a college rally when he said, "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."
Life is about movement and jumping over obstacles; the painting "Only the Wise" depicts a god represented by a man in a red suit who gives opportunities to different creatures. These creatures must find their way to get to the top to glimpse what these gods offer. The lizard could not fly but did its best to climb to the top; the smartest among the creatures was the bird who flew to receive the offering of the gods. The word love inscribed on the background fosters the promotion of love in all we do; without love, there is no sharing or giving.
