OOA Gallery, renowned for its commitment to promoting contemporary African art, proudly presents AFROVISION: The Art & Fashion Experience, an event that seamlessly blends art, fashion, and African identity. From December 13 to 15, Sitges will become a hub of cultural dialogue and creativity, at the Calipolis Hotel, hosting one of the most fashionable art exhibitions of late 2024.

OPENING: Saturday, December 14 at 7:00 PM

The opening night promises to be unforgettable, featuring an exclusive fashion show by Afrothopía Boutique a brand that combines African tradition with contemporary design. Following the show, guests will enjoy a cava cocktail, surrounded by the dynamism and vibrancy of Emma Hammond DJ.

AFROVISION will showcase works by prominent African artists whose creativity reflects the cultural diversity and narrative richness of the continent: Abdias Ngateu, Armand Boua, Boris Anje, Boukaré Bonkoungou, Daniel Onguene, Ebenezer Akinola, Emeka Udemba, Evans Mbugua, Larry Otoo, Matthew Eguavoen, Méné, Mederic Turay, Moses Zibor, Oliver Okolo, Oluwole Omofemi, Opeyemi Matthew Olukotun, Prince Galla Gnohité, Rémy Samuz, Simone Brewster, and Vincent de Paul Zoungrana.

Each artist offers a unique perspective, exploring themes such as identity, cultural heritage, human emotions, and social realities. Their works, rich in energy, color, and meaning, form a mosaic that invites viewers to reflect on the complexities of contemporary African art.
