In Moving Sand, Miska Mohmmed evokes a shifting terrain where shore, desert and water appear to exchange identities. The pale ground opens like a field of heat or light, while dense passages of black, red, violet and blue gather along the horizon and flow through the centre of the work. Small circular forms suggest stones, traces or fragments carried by movement. The composition feels improvised yet carefully balanced, reflecting Mohmmed’s ability to transform remembered landscapes into fluid structures of color, line and sensation.
This original acrylic painting on canvas will appeal to collectors interested in contemporary abstract landscape where sand, water and memory become a poetic field of movement.
