In As We Are No. 4, Emeka Udemba uses collage, paint and textured marks to create a figure who appears both clearly present and partially obscured. This original mixed media work on canvas suggests that identity is never fixed, but shaped by information, memory and social perception. It will appeal to collectors drawn to intimate, layered works where material process becomes part of the subject’s story.
