Out of Africa Gallery, operating from Barcelona, Spain, has selected four artists for VOLTA New York 2023 — Oluwole Omofemi, Moses Zibor, Matthew Eguavoen, and Mederic Turay.
The artists use different techniques and unique histories to highlight African traditions, culture, and pride. The focus is on portraits and the ways the artists highlight their subjects' position in the world, their experiences, and attitudes.
