Contemporary African & Afro-Diasporic Artists
OOA Gallery presents a curated selection of contemporary artists from Africa and the African diaspora, alongside a limited number of international artists whose practice engages in sustained dialogue with Africa through subject matter, materials, collaboration, or long-term research. OOA Gallery works with both officially represented artists and collaborating artists. Explore painting, sculpture, textile and mixed media, browse artist biographies, and discover available works.

What do we mean by “Africa in dialogue”?
In addition to artists born or based in Africa and those from the African diaspora, this selection may include non-African artists whose practice maintains a meaningful relationship with Africa—through themes, techniques, materials, partnerships, or long-term research.
