In Onu Mbido — The First Harvest, the story opens in innocence. Jerome holds a basket overflowing with fruit, too young to grasp the meaning of plenty. The harvest is greater than his understanding, yet it foreshadows the responsibilities he will inherit. The first lesson of life: abundance is both a gift and a burden. The work will appeal to collectors drawn to contemporary figuration that connects domestic imagery, heritage and renewal.
