In Good Gal... II, Ebenezer Akinola presents a poised female figure dressed in yellow, seated against a muted green ground. The Black face becomes the emotional and symbolic center of the composition, intensifying the figure’s presence while challenging reductive ideas of beauty and representation. Through posture, fashion and gaze, Akinola explores self-presentation, confidence and contemporary African identity.
